FAQ

When I buy a tune, what do I get?

Each $1.99 practice track bundle includes several MP3 audio files at different speeds and mixes, plus a PDF chord chart. Details here >

How are the files delivered and how do I open them?

Our practice track bundles are delivered as zip files. Once your purchase is complete you will receive links via the website and email to download your bundle(s).

Most people just click the links and save the zip file to their computer. If that doesn’t work for you, try right-clicking and choosing “Save Target As” or “Save Link As” to download the file.

Once the file is on your computer, open it up to see the bundle contents–several MP3 files and a PDF chord chart. Drag these files into the folder on your computer where you want your files stored. Click a file to open it.

How can I get these files onto my iPad?

Because Apple doesn’t let you easily download and open zip files directly on the iPad, you need to 1) download the zip file to your desktop computer, 2) get the files out of the zip file, then 3) copy the files to your iPad.

For MP3 files we recommend adding them to your iTunes library, then syncing your library with your iPad. This puts all the MP3s at your fingertips from Apple’s native music app, and also gets them into your computer’s iTunes library for easy access.

For the PDF chord chart you can email it to yourself and receive the PDF on your iPad, or use a service like iCloud or Dropbox to store the file which you can then open on your iPad.
